A Work in Progress

We are not completely in full shape.

We are formless ever since we’re born.

And as we grow older, our thoughts, emotions, and views about the world fluctuate.

But the good thing about this is that each day is an opportunity to learn and grow. The Internet has provided us a wide avenue for learning and experimenting.

We can either learn from others and understand their worldviews, or don’t learn at all and remain the same person.

But we all know that staying in the same place for long periods of time is unfulfilling. It’s boring.

The key is to keep moving forward — continuous learning and improving, stepping outside our comfort zones, and adapting to different situations if we have to.

It’s not an overnight change. The process may take us years. The point is to reach our highest potential.

But above all, the most important lesson to remember is this:

It’s a complete waste of time when we berate others for their mistakes.

Because that person we’re about to criticize… is a work in progress.

We all are a work in progress.

Don’t waste time arguing and fighting.

Becoming a better human is a tedious process. We’re not even aware what the heck is happening.

My question is, when will this “becoming” end? Will it ever end?

PS: Just like most people, I often forget the truth that everyone’s a work in progress. So this is my daily reminder. 🙂
