A Work in Progress

We are not completely in full shape.

We are formless ever since we’re born.

And as we grow older, our thoughts, emotions, and views about the world fluctuate.

But the good thing about this is that each day is an opportunity to learn and grow.

We can either learn from others and understand their worldviews, or don’t learn at all and remain the same person.

We all know that staying in the same place for long periods of time is unfulfilling. It’s boring.

The key is to keep moving forward — endless learning and improving, stepping outside our comfort zones, and adapting to different situations if we have to.

It’s not an overnight change. The process may take us years. A tedious process. We’re not even aware what the heck is happening.

The point is to reach our highest potential.

But above all, the most important lesson to remember is this:

It’s a complete waste of time when we berate others for their mistakes.

Because that person we’re about to criticize… is a work in progress.

Everyone is a work in progress.

Don’t waste time arguing and fighting.

PS: Just like most people, I often forget the truth that everyone’s a work in progress. So this is my daily reminder.
