Your Life is What You Tolerate

If you tolerate living in a disorganized or shabby house…

If you tolerate the addiction or irresponsibility of your spouse…

If you tolerate the financial mismanagement of your parents (or your adult kids)…

If you tolerate being around negative toxic people…

If you tolerate being scammed and cheated…

If you tolerate someone’s unethical treatment of you…

If you tolerate working in an organization that mistreats people…

If you tolerate the shortcomings of your leaders…

If you tolerate the excuses of the people you work with…

If you tolerate mediocrity or poor quality of anything…

Then that will be your life.

Complaining why your life sucks doesn’t change anything.

Instead, ask yourself about the things you can’t tolerate.

If your place has been dirty and disorganized for a very long time, that means you can tolerate that.

Same goes for your work and relationships. The things you tolerate will become part of your life.

The key is to be aware of the things you can tolerate and the things you can’t.

The next step is to decide if you want to change, leave, or accept.

Of course it’s not easy. But it’s your own life. You’re the one in charge.
